Camping and amenities
The Festival organizers make every effort to ensure that people and the planet are treated with utmost respect, and urge patrons to do the same. We ask that folks clean up after themselves and dispose of their garbage and recyclables in the appropriate, marked bins. All cutlery and dishes provided by Puddleducks are biodegradable! Potable water is not available on-site, so we ask patrons to use the contents of the water-bottles conservatively. We strictly adhere to provincial fire bans when they are in place. Any activity involving open flame is not permitted in the barn, including smoking. Butt cans are provided outside the barn.
The Tay Creek Folk Festival is held at the beautiful Tay Ridge Farm which has two large camping fields and a small RV parking area. All camping is free, and “rough” in that there are no electrical hookups, and no dumping. We have outhouses, port-a-potties & a washroom in Puddleducks. There is a shower but the line-ups can get a bit long sometimes.
